Novetat Total 2024 LITRE

Novetat Total 2024 LITRE

A sunkissed blend of young vines of Callet, Manto Negro and Fogoneu from Felantix along with a handful of other local varieties, planted over the island’s characteristic red clay soils. The grapes were mostly destemmed, with a small quantity of whole bunches in the mix, and macerated from anywhere between a week and a month before being pressed off to vats for six months of rest.

The result is a delicate wine with a complex perfume of blackberries, red earth, brine and wildflowers that marries wonderfully with the silky tannins and cascade of bitter herbs that follow.

A litre of Mallorcan sunshine, this is simply as joyful and invigorating as wine gets. It scores extra points for its black metal pastiche label, replete with a characteristically illegible logo and incongruous nocturnal felines. Just brilliant!
