Le Jour se Leve 2024
Another new Petite Nature négoce cuvée for 2024, Le Jour se Leve uses Marsanne from St Réméze in the southern Ardèche. It's a maceration, an inviting warm gold in the glass, made using whole bunches in carbonic maceration - not something you always see with white grapes.
This technique really draws out the broad, textural potential of the varietal - tannins have a delicate, dialled-back grippiness that neatly frames ripe southern flavours of hay, honey, saline stone fruit and a burst of pineapple.
