La Tangente 'Ho'oponopono' 2023

La Tangente 'Ho'oponopono' 2023

A superb vintage for this ten-day whole-bunch co-maceration of Viognier, Marsanne & Roussanne grown over limestone and clay in the Gard. With a more delicate tannic framework than previous vintages, this year it was pressed into old oak barrels to age for 14 months before bottling with no additions.

Glowing a hazy, sandy gold in the glass, there is an abundance of intense apricot and pineapple fruits with a peach iced tea-like quality that lends real dryness to the palate as it tails into a long, herb-flecked finish. Aromatically the wine is especially alive, with spicy stem ginger and woody clove emerging from the punch of tropical fruit. Ho'oponopono positively brims with energy this year!
